San Marino Neobus began its activities in 1991, Caxias do Sul – RS, manufacturing components for the automobilist industry, agricultural, transport and furniture. In 1999 it started to develop vehicles for the passengers transport, launching the models Mega and Mega Evolution. The team of collaborators was compound then by 60 people.
Facing to the development of the vehicles that represents true alternatives for the segments which it is part of, Neobus company is always presenting some news. Among them we can highlight the Thunder +, the biggest and most comfortable microbus in the market, launched in 2001, the Spectrum that for being so innovator started a new bus category in Brazil, and the Thunder Way, launched in 2004, intermediate vehicle, between the mini and the microbus.
The bold and innovator placement of the company made Neobus to become elected the Bodybuilder of the Year in 2004 through the Autodata Prize, for having become, in a few years, one of biggest and most important bodybuilders of Brazil.
Nowadays it is one of the sales leaders of microbuses in the country, with 30% of participation in this segment and 11% of the buses in the total. Besides that, it exports to countries of North America, South America, Central America and Caribbean, Africa and Middle East.
Located in a city acknowledged as a center of excellence in the buses production in the Latin America, nowadays the Neobus has over than 1.600 collaborators in its industrial park of 300 thousand m², with 40 thousand m² of constructed area and production capability of 25 units / day.
